This statement relates to the National Centre for Plasma Research and Technology's (NCPST) privacy practices in connection with its website.

NCPST fully respects your right to privacy and actively seeks to preserve the privacy rights of those who share information with the NCPST. NCPST does not collect any personal data about you on this website, apart from information which you volunteer (for example by e-mailing the centre). Any information, which you provide in this way, is not made available to any third party - other than those working with the NCPST on normal NCPST business, and is used by the NCPST only in line with the purpose for which you provided it.

This website does not use cookies, apart from temporary `session' cookies which enable a visitor's web browser to remember which pages on this website have already been visited. Visitors can use this website with no loss of functionality if cookies are disabled from the web browser.
Technical details in connection with visits to this website may be logged by the centre’s internet service provider for accounting and auditing purposes.

Rights of Access, Rectification and Erasure
You have a right to be given a copy of personal data held about you. A request for a copy of such data must be submitted in writing to the Operations Manager, National Centre for Plasma Research and Technology, Dublin City University, Glasnevin, Dublin 9. Any such request will be dealt with within 40 calendar days. You also have the right to have your data corrected, if inaccurate, or erased, if the NCPST does not have a legitimate reason for retaining the data. Requests for correction or erasure must be submitted in writing to the Director of Computer Services, Dublin City University, Glasnevin, Dublin 9. Any such request will be dealt with within 40 calendar days.
