Mayo 2040 : Mayo Science & Technology Festival 2010

Dr Stephen Daniels, Executive Director, NCPST has been invited to give a talk a workshop at the Mayo Science & Technology Festival 2010 entitled "Mayo 2040".  The purpose of the workshop is to look at what Mayo will be like in 30 years time.  What kinds of technologies are being developed today that will be in everyday use in 2040.  How will these change our lives and how will we share information?  What types of medical technology will be improving our lives?  Dr Daniels' talk is entitled "Gaseous Plasma: Technology, Science & Impact".  The workshop is being held in GMIT, Castlebar, Thursday, 18th November at 7pm.
