MSC in PLasma & Vacuum Technology
General Course Information:
Both the MSc degree and the Postgraduate Diploma consist of six course modules plus a research project with a dissertation. Individual modules may be taken for professional training and development or as part of another academic programme. Modules are designed to be compatible with the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).
The courses will be of particular interest to:
- Those employed in industries which utilise plasma and vacuum technology. These may include scientists, engineers, technicians and other professionals.
- Science and engineering graduates who wish to specialise and obtain a formal postgraduate qualification in plasma and vacuum technology.
- Individuals and companies who wish to use individual courses as a basis for continuing professional development and training.
- Postgraduate research students working on projects which require background knowledge of industrial plasma or vacuum systems. Individual courses may be taken to obtain the relevant knowledge and skills.
